The Problems




The time needed to maintain and update “Mood Music” for an average hotel is a full time job that diverts staff from primary responsibilities.


Staff rarely have the necessary skills required to select and maintain the vast number and variety of tracks needed.


CDs present a myriad of problems. Only a few tracks from any one CD are usable, they vary in volume from track to track CD to CD. There are gaps between tracks, staff forget to change them, the list goes on and on.


iPods are a personal not a professional/commercial tool. Days/times and frequency of play cannot be programmed. Maintenance and upload of music is time consuming and can only be done using iTunes software.
